March 2012 Extra Dates

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,

As the end of term approaches rapidly I thought you might appreciate an update on events in the last week.

Monday 26^th March

8 children will be taking part in a basketball tournament at Yeovil College. Mr Jones will be taking them along with Mrs Lancey. Letters have already gone out to those involved. Please be aware the children need to be collected from the college at 5.45pm.

Tuesday 27^th March

The lower school choir will be going to Sunningdale Lodge with Mrs Lancey and Mr Emslie and the upper school choir will be going to the Music Spectacular at Westlands Sports and Leisure Complex with myself and Miss Stringer. A separate letter for those involved with Westlands has gone out.

Thursday 29^th March

This is a non uniform day for Sports Relief in exchange for 50p. We will be going to Fiveways School and walking the mile around the school field with our disabled friends.

We will be holding our annual Easter Hat Parade at 2.30pm followed by an Easter tea party to which you are very welcome to attend. Please see Sarah Jennings if you can help with teas and if you can make a large cake for everyone to share even better.

Easter Bingo will start at 6pm and everyone is welcome. Please try and come if you can and bring the children, they love Bingo and there are wonderful prizes on offer!!

Friday 30^th March

Celebration Assembly is at 2.30pm everyone welcome.

The School Council will be running a cake sale on the last day of term. Cakes will be on sale for 30p.

Tuesday 3^rd April

Easter Playscheme (for children age 0 -12 years) at Birchfield Children's Centre1-3pm.

Come along and join in the craft and other activities with your child.

London Trip

Please pay for this trip by 18 May. If you are unsure of the amount contact the school office.

It only remains for me to wish you all a very wonderful Easter break with your children and we look forward to seeing you all again on TUESDAY 17^th April.
